Great news for those based in the West Midlands – come November, we’ll be offering some of our most sought-after courses in Birmingham!
We’ll be running three highly popular CITB site safety plus/construction skills courses: CITB Health & Safety Awareness, CITB SMSTS and CITB SSSTS.
Covering a wide range of issues relating to onsite health and safety, the CITB Health & Safety Awareness course is designed to give individuals who have entered or are looking to enter the construction and civil engineering industries a clear insight into the basics of health and safety and promotes understanding of potential industry hazards. It’s also now a requirement to have completed this course when applying for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
Designed to provide project managers, site managers, supervisors, proprietors and client-based personnel with the knowledge and skills they need to ensure compliant, reliable health and safety conditions for construction site employees, the CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is an essential course of any individual undertaking an onsite management position.
The CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) introduces the knowledge of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues that’s required for individuals who currently hold or are considering applying for onsite supervisory positions. Illustrating the relevant legal requirements and focusing on the effective promotion of health and safety, it delivers all the information site supervisors need to fulfil their legal responsibilities.
You can learn more about these courses or any of our other CITB courses by clicking here.
Our excellent Birmingham training venue is ideally located for those living near to Birmingham or commuting from elsewhere in the UK. It’s only a short drive from the city centre, but far enough outside to avoid troublesome traffic and parking issues.
These great CITB training courses will be available in Birmingham from November 2017, so be sure to get in touch with our team on 01530 833533 or book online to secure your place before these exclusive courses fill up!
