Many more workers, aged 23-24, will benefit from this in particular, as their category for the National Minimum Wage has been abolished, following the lowering of the age of the eligibility for the National Living Wage to 23 years old.
It is recommended that all organisations review their pay structure to ensure that no employees dip below the legal requirement, remembering that organisations who have failed to implement this have been publicly named and shamed, as well as given a hefty fine!
